A Master of Arts in Gerontology with a concentration in Aging Studies is a specialized academic program designed to prepare individuals to work with the aging population, for gerontology research &/or continuing into a doctorate degree. This 30-hour program is designed to support, improve, and enhance the lives of the aging population.

Internship is a one semester (300 hours 鈥� 25 to 30 hours per week) to gain hands-on experience.听 It is an opportunity for the student to develop technical skills, apply classroom learning, observe the population for possible research topics, and transition to the work environment.
