蜜桔直播 pharmacy student wins second science award

Gauri Patwardhad of Mumbai, India, and a pharmacy student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, recently won the Best Student Poster award at the Louisiana Academy of Sciences鈥� annual meeting held on Feb. 27 at Louisiana State University at Alexandria.

Patwardhad won the same award at last year鈥檚 meeting for a different research project.

鈥淭his demonstrates the competitiveness of our research program and graduate students with other programs in the state,鈥� Dr. Greg Leader, interim dean of the college of pharmacy, said. 鈥淭o win it two years in a row with different research projects is outstanding.鈥�
