蜜桔直播 unveils revamped institutional logo

Officials at the University of Louisiana at Monroe unveiled a revamped version of the university's institutional logo today at an employee luncheon.

The restyled logo鈥攄esigned in-house by Director of Graphic Design Christi Bailey鈥攚ill serve as a more modern interpretation of the university's most recognizable symbol鈥攖he Kitty DeGree Bell Tower.

Bailey said she was excited to redesign the logo.

"It was an honor to be a part of the team in the Office of Public Information that developed the new 蜜桔直播 logo chosen to represent our university," she said.

"As a 蜜桔直播 Arts and Sciences graduate and an employee of 蜜桔直播 for the past 32 years as a graphic designer, this will always serve as a very important milestone for me."

蜜桔直播 President Dr. Nick J. Bruno unveiled the logo to a packed room of faculty and staff, with a presentation that highlighted the updated look.

He said, "In light of the changing and growing needs of the university, faculty, staff and students, 蜜桔直播's Office of Public Information has collaboratively created a revitalized version of the logo, making it cleaner, more modern and more representative of our brand."

"This logo will accompany the current and well-received athletic logo, bringing the two closer together in style and modernity," Bruno continued.

"As you all know, the circle logo was restrictive in its usage. In creating the restyled logo, the decision was made to create multiple variations in order to meet the needs of anyone who uses it, whether it is used for a conference presentation, power point, or poster."

The revamped logo will also be used on institutional business cards, envelopes, and stationery.

"As offices deplete their current supply of stationery, their new orders will be placed to include the restyled logo," said Bruno.

Bruno also unveiled the university's new Identity Standards Manual鈥� a new and vital resource for faculty and staff in the planning of publications, flyers, postcards, and everyday communication.
