The Pharmacy program at 蜜桔直播 is Louisiana鈥檚 only publicly supported comprehensive center for pharmaceutical education, research, and service. The Toxicology program at 蜜桔直播 was the first of its kind in the South and is currently one of only six nationally. In addition to our standard PharmD degree, our Pharmacy program also offers three combination degree alternatives. The Graduate program at 蜜桔直播 College of Pharmacy offers two PhD degree options.
The education offered at 蜜桔直播 equips our students with the tools necessary to be prepared for and be successful in the constantly changing field of health care. Graduates of our pharmacy program work across the nation in community and health-system pharmacies, clinical practices, managed care groups, academia, the pharmaceutical industry, and a wide variety of other settings.
Students enrolled in the programs offered by the College of Pharmacy at 蜜桔直播 receive a challenging and forward-thinking education that combines classroom learning, practical application, and experiential training in our state-of-the-art facility located in Monroe, Louisiana. Dr. Alexis Horace, a professor in the University of Louisiana Monroe College of Pharmacy, recently received the 2025 Agent of Change Award from the University of Louisiana System. Horace received the award on March 28, 2025, at the annual For Our Future Conference hosted by the UL System.
University of Louisiana Monroe President Dr. Ronald Berry awarded degrees to 669 graduates at the Summer and Fall 2024 commencement ceremonies on December 14, 2024. Two ceremonies were held for the four colleges: Arts, Education, and Sciences, Business and Social Sciences, Health Sciences, and Pharmacy, plus the Graduate School.
