The College is comprised of two schools, the School of Allied Health and the Kitty DeGree School of Nursing, that offer degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ celebrates naming of Marjorie S. Price Doctor of Physical Therapy Program

ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ held a ceremony on October 2, 2024, to celebrate the naming of the new Marjorie S. Price Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Special guests included Teddy R. Price, son of Mrs. Price, and Mark Romero, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System. Guests were able to view the new signage reflecting the name in the Physical Therapy suite in Walker and were also given tours of the physical therapy clinic by current students.

LDCC and ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ collaborate to deliver medical science lab career pathways

In a continued effort to bridge the bayou, Louisiana Delta Community College and the University of Louisiana Monroe will share resources to jointly deliver instruction for medical lab science career pathways. At LDCC, the 65-credit-hour Medical Laboratory Technicians Program includes certifications or exit points as a phlebotomist, a medical lab assistant, and terminating as a medical lab technician. Upon successful completion of the program, students will earn an associate of applied science degree. Students will then be eligible to seamlessly enter ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥'s medical lab science bachelor's degree program. After successfully completing thirty hours online at ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥, students will graduate with their bachelor's degree in medical lab sciences.
